Alaska Airlines has no birthday reward. Its loyalty program’s terms and legal pages were checked directly, and nothing in them is tied to a member’s birthday.
What Alaska Airlines Is
Alaska Airlines is a major US airline based in Seattle, known for its West Coast route network and its loyalty program, recently rebranded Atmos Rewards. It merged with Hawaiian Airlines in 2024, combining both carriers’ networks and eventually their loyalty programs under one brand.
What Was Actually Checked
Alaska rebranded its loyalty program from Mileage Plan to Atmos Rewards on August 20, 2025, following its merger with Hawaiian Airlines. The program’s terms and conditions, Alaska’s general legal terms page, and the official Atmos Rewards launch announcement were all read directly. None contains any mention of a birthday or birth-month benefit.
Eligibility and Cost
Atmos Rewards is free to join. Nothing in its earning or redemption structure is birthday-specific.
No Cashback Route Either
Fluz’s only listing for Alaska Airlines is its generic 1.5% virtual-card rate, which doesn’t count as a real route under this site’s standard. TopCashback lists Alaska, but its rate is for buying Mileage Plan points through Points.com, not for general Alaska purchases, so it isn’t a comparable route.
