There is no personal birthday discount on admission at the Aquarium of the Pacific. What the Aquarium’s own “Birthdays” page actually describes is a group event package starting at $65 per person, plus a mandatory $350 site fee, for booking a private party space. That’s an entirely different thing from a discount an individual visitor gets on their own birthday.
Aquarium of the Pacific is a nonprofit aquarium in Long Beach, California, and its general discounts page lists grocery-store coupon partnerships and standard categories like military and student pricing, none of them tied to a visitor’s birthday.
What The Birthday Party Package Actually Costs
The Aquarium’s own event page states the package at $65 per person (children 2 and under free), which includes day-of-event admission during the 9 AM to 6 PM window. On top of the per-person rate, there’s a required $350 site fee for two hours of exclusive access to the outdoor Veranda event space overlooking the harbor, plus a choice of one buffet: breakfast, cheese and pepperoni pizza, or a BBQ chicken buffet.
This is aimed at someone planning and paying for a group celebration, not an individual looking for a personal discount to use on a solo or family visit. If you’re hoping to walk in on your birthday and pay less than the standard admission price, that option doesn’t exist here.
No Cashback Route Either
Checked all three cashback partners this site carries. Fluz doesn’t list Aquarium of the Pacific. TopCashback’s search claims 500 results, but neither “aquarium” nor “pacific” appears as an actual merchant match anywhere in that page — “pacific” only turns up as part of the unrelated Cathay Pacific airline listing. Price.com doesn’t carry it either.
Beyond the birthday party package, the Aquarium’s general Discounts page lists a grocery-store coupon promotion running through September 29 at participating independent stores, alongside standard military and student admission rates. None of these are tied to an individual’s birth date; they’re the same categories most attractions offer regardless of the calendar.
Q&A
Q: Is there any way to get in free on my birthday?
A: Not based on anything the Aquarium publishes. The only birthday-related offering is the paid group party package.
Q: Does the party package at least include admission for the birthday person?
A: Yes, day-of admission is bundled into the $65 per-person rate, but that’s a group booking cost, not an individual discount.
Q: Are there other Aquarium discounts worth knowing about?
A: The Aquarium runs a grocery-store coupon partnership and standard military and student rates, none tied to a birthday.
Q: Could this change?
A: Possibly. We checked the Aquarium’s own discounts and birthday pages directly and found nothing individual; re-verify if planning around this.
Q: Is the grocery-coupon discount worth checking instead?
A: It could be, if you shop at one of the participating independent grocery stores already, but it’s a general admission discount unrelated to your birthday and runs only through the stated end date.
