WHOOP doesn’t list a birthday reward on any page read for this post, but two posts on its own community forum mention “a birthday discount code gifted by Whoop” that didn’t apply at checkout, and WHOOP’s staff replies never say whether such a code exists. The discounts WHOOP does put in writing are for military members, nurses, first responders and students, and no cashback route turned up.

What WHOOP Is

Wikipedia describes it this way: “Whoop, Inc. (stylized as WHOOP) is an American wearable technology company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts,” and “Its principal product is a health tracker that measures strain, recovery, and sleep.” WHOOP sells the tracker as part of a membership, so the price you compare is a yearly plan and not a price tag on a band. WHOOP’s membership page puts it this way: “The WHOOP membership provides a lower-cost way for customers to try the most advanced wearable technology without a high upfront cost.”

The Birthday Code Reports On WHOOP’s Forum

WHOOP runs a community forum, and two posts there describe the same problem. On May 27, 2026, a member posted in the Orders & Subscription section under the title “Whoop provided discount codes”: “I placed an order and tried to use a birthday discount code gifted by Whoop. The order went through but no discount was applied. How to resolve?” A WHOOP team account replied on May 29: “Hello! Please reach out to our support team directly at” WHOOP’s support email “for further assistance with this.”

On June 12, 2026, a second member posted in the General section with a post worded exactly the same, and a WHOOP team account replied the same day with “Please reach out to our support team directly at” the same email “so we can assist further.” Because the two posts are word for word alike, this post treats them as one kind of report and not as two separate confirmations.

What’s in them is a member saying they held a code that WHOOP had sent as a birthday gift. What’s missing is anything from WHOOP saying when the codes go out, what they’re worth or whether they still exist, and none of WHOOP’s own pages read here mention a birthday. That makes this a lead worth an email to WHOOP support and not a program you can plan around.

What WHOOP’s Pages Do Offer

An archived copy of WHOOP’s Hero Discounts page, captured June 18, 2026, is headed “Exclusive discounts for military, first responders, and nurses.” It says to “click the button below to verify your eligibility. Then use the generated code during checkout.” The page’s FAQ spells out the terms: “The discount includes 10% off prepaid WHOOP Peak and WHOOP Life memberships, which includes the Annual & 24-month plans,” and “This discount does not apply to WHOOP One, Trial or Family plans.” It adds “The offer is eligible for new WHOOP members only. The discount will not apply to membership extensions.”

The footer of WHOOP’s archived home page links “Student pricing” to a Student Beans page, which says “There are multiple discounts available for you to choose from” and doesn’t show an amount. WHOOP’s home page, as archived on September 27, 2026, opens with “1 year free of Natural Cycles now included with all WHOOP memberships,” and its fine print says “Offer available to eligible WHOOP customers who are new to Natural Cycles.” The footer also lists Refer a Friend, gifting and “Healthcare Professional Subsidy” links. The Internet Archive holds no copy of the subsidy page, and the other two weren’t read.

What The Membership Costs

WHOOP’s membership page, as archived on July 28, 2026, lists three plans: One “Starts at $199/yr,” Peak “Starts at $239/yr” and Life “Starts at $359/yr.” Each includes a device, with One and Peak using the WHOOP 5.0 and Life using the WHOOP MG. The page says “Your WHOOP membership starts when you pair and activate your WHOOP device, or 30 days after the strap is shipped.” The return policy reads “You are eligible to cancel your membership and return your WHOOP device for a full refund minus the cost of shipping for any reason within 30 days of receipt.”

The lifetime warranty covers replacement “as long as you purchased directly through WHOOP and have an active membership.” The membership page marks memberships HSA/FSA eligible and says to select Truemed at checkout.

The trial is described two ways. The membership page capture from July 28 says “Get a 1-month free trial of Peak membership with a certified pre-owned WHOOP 5.0 device,” and the home page capture from September 27 says “Get a 1-month free trial of Peak membership with a WHOOP device and charger included.” The two captures are two months apart, so check the current page for which one applies.

No Cashback Route Found

Price.com’s WHOOP page says “Cash back is not currently available for this store.” TopCashback’s address for WHOOP returned “Page Not Found.” Fluz’s WHOOP page is titled “1.5% cashback at WHOOP,” which matches the general rate in Fluz’s FAQ, “up to 1.5% cashback on Fluz Virtual Card purchases (sometimes more based on the merchant’s offer).” That reads as Fluz’s baseline for every merchant and not a rate set for WHOOP. Price.com also lists coupon codes for WHOOP. None were tested here, so this post doesn’t repeat them. Rates move, so check the current number before you order.

What Was Actually Checked

WHOOP’s live site refused every fetch made for this post, with a Cloudflare block page from one tool and an HTTP 403 from another, so nothing here comes from a live WHOOP page. The membership page was read from an Internet Archive copy dated July 28, 2026, the home page from one dated September 27, 2026 and the Hero Discounts page from one dated June 18, 2026. The word “birthday” doesn’t appear on any of the three. The two forum threads and the Student Beans page were read live. If WHOOP has a birthday program that lives behind an account or arrives by email, none of these pages would show it.

Eligibility and Cost

The Hero Discount is for new members on prepaid Peak or Life plans, and it needs an eligibility check before you get a code. The student discount goes through Student Beans, and its amount isn’t shown on the page read. The Natural Cycles year is for people who are new to that app, and it ends if the WHOOP membership does. Prices and trial terms come from archived pages, so check them on WHOOP’s site before you order.

Q&A

Q: Does WHOOP have a birthday reward?
A: None turned up on WHOOP’s pages. Two posts on its community forum mention “a birthday discount code gifted by Whoop” that didn’t apply at checkout, and WHOOP’s replies didn’t say whether such a code exists.

Q: What did WHOOP say on the forum?
A: Both replies, on May 29 and June 12, 2026, said “Please reach out to our support team directly” and gave WHOOP’s support email. Neither one confirms or denies a birthday code.

Q: What discounts does WHOOP list?
A: An archived copy of its Hero Discounts page lists 10% off prepaid Peak and Life memberships for military, nurses and first responders, for new members only. It also links a student discount and offers a year of Natural Cycles to members who are new to that app.

Q: Does the Hero Discount cover the cheapest plan?
A: No. The page says “This discount does not apply to WHOOP One, Trial or Family plans.”

Q: What does a WHOOP membership cost?
A: An archived copy of the membership page shows One from $199 a year, Peak from $239 and Life from $359. The device comes with the membership.

Q: Can I try it first?
A: The archived pages offer a one-month free trial of Peak. The two captures describe the device that comes with it differently, so check the current page before you count on either.

Q: Is there cashback on WHOOP?
A: None turned up. Price.com says cash back isn’t currently available for the store, and the TopCashback address tried returned a not-found page.

Oura also sells a wearable with a membership fee, lists no birthday reward and has its own 10% and 30% discounts for verified groups. Amazfit has a written birthday credit, but it’s on its India store only. Garmin ran a birthday sale that was the company’s own.
