BevMo doesn’t have a birthday reward for ClubBev members, and the only birthday promotion we found was a sweepstakes that ran from November 8 to November 16, 2023, for California residents. The prize for ten winners was a chance to buy a bottle of bourbon at its regular price, which is a long way from a coupon in your inbox.
What BevMo Is
BevMo is a beverage retailer that sells wine, beer and spirits in stores, online and by delivery. The site footer reads “Powered by Gopuff,” and the delivery banner promises about 30 minutes for instant delivery. ClubBev is its free loyalty program, and the archived copy of its page invites you to sign up.
What ClubBev Pays Out
The membership FAQ says “Yes, membership is free!” Members earn “1 point per $1 spent, excluding taxes, deposits & ship/delivery charges,” and “When you reach the 250 point threshold, you’ll be issued a 5% Reward granting a one-time 5% discount on a future purchase.” Points stay put: “Your points do not expire but your 5% rewards do expire if not used within 90 days of being issued.” The page also lists a perk for wine buyers: “Get an additional 10% off when you buy 6+ bottles of BevMo collection wines.”
The Birthday Sweepstakes
BevMo ran a Birthday Sweepstakes in 2023. The official rules say it was “open only to individuals who at the time of entry are (i) twenty-one (21) years of age or older (ii) a resident of the State of California,” and that it “begins on November 8, 2023 and ends on November 16, 2023.” Ten winners each won “one (1) opportunity to purchase a bottle of Old Foresters Birthday Bourbon at its retail price.” Entry meant posting a picture on Instagram or filling out a form. So this was a one-off giveaway tied to a single bourbon, not something a member earns in their birthday month.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said a birthday voucher worth ten dollars off fifty was unconfirmed, and that the sweepstakes terms page returned a not-found error. We found no voucher either. The sweepstakes rules did turn up in an archived copy, which is why this version describes them.
No Real Cashback Route Found
Fluz lists a general virtual card at “1.5% cashback” with a BevMo page, but the page reads like a company profile and doesn’t show a BevMo-specific rate. Price.com and TopCashback didn’t give a usable BevMo rate either. A page that doesn’t load isn’t proof that no cashback exists, but no BevMo rate turned up. If you want a general card rate on the bill, Fluz offers a virtual card that isn’t specific to BevMo. Rates move, so check again before you buy.
What Was Actually Checked
BevMo’s own site blocked a plain request and a browser read on 2026-10-08, so we couldn’t read it live. The ClubBev page, the ClubBev terms and the sweepstakes rules were read from archived copies of those pages, and the archived copies show no capture date. The terms page says “Last Updated: December 31, 2019.” Check bevmo.com for what ClubBev pays today. Fluz, Price.com, TopCashback and Wikipedia were read live.
Eligibility and Cost
ClubBev is free. The terms say membership is “open to legal residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico) who are 21 years of age or older,” and that “A maximum of four rewards can be earned per member per week.”
