What KUIU Is
KUIU makes performance hunting gear, and it has since 2011. Jason Hairston founded the company to sell directly to hunters, and its gear is built for sheep, elk, whitetail deer, bear, waterfowl and upland hunting. The birthday offer is part of KUIU Inner Circle, its free loyalty program.
How To Get The KUIU Birthday Deal
Join Inner Circle with your first name, last name and email address, and enter your birthday when the form asks. The birthday field is marked optional, but the offer depends on KUIU having your date. If you add or change your birthday to a date within 30 days of the update, KUIU delays the offer by 30 days, so add it at least 30 days before your birthday. Joining also signs you up for KUIU’s marketing emails.
What The Offer Is Worth
KUIU doesn’t say. There’s no amount, no word on whether it’s a code, a percentage or a dollar figure, and nothing on how long it lasts, whether it’s single-use or what it excludes. KUIU’s program terms do call it a birthday discount, and the offer reaches all members, not just a tier. If you’re deciding whether to join for it, count it as an unknown and judge Inner Circle on the points instead.
The Points Behind It
Members earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible merchandise. At 1,000 points you can redeem a $50 reward at checkout, and at 2,000 points a $100 reward, which works out to 5% back. A reward only applies to an order whose subtotal is at or above the reward’s value. Points expire two years after the day you earned them. Gift card purchases, and the part of an order paid with a gift card or an Inner Circle reward, don’t earn points. Gold and Platinum tiers add early access and exclusive products, and Platinum members get free standard U.S. shipping on orders of $99 or more.
Eligibility and Cost
Membership is free and no purchase is necessary. You have to be 18 or older and a resident of the United States. KUIU employees can’t join, and neither can customers enrolled in KUIU’s Guides & Outfitters program. You can cancel any time by emailing KUIU’s service address, but any points you’ve built up are forfeited.
