How To Get The Toad&Co Birthday Deal
Create a Toad&Co account, which joins you to Toad&Co Rewards at the free Do Gooder tier, and add your birthday to it. Add it at least 30 days ahead. Toad&Co’s rewards program asks for 30 days’ notice or you wait another year, while its FAQ says only a birthday within a day of when you entered it gets pushed to next year. A month’s notice covers both. The points arrive on your birthday, and you redeem them from your Loyalty page or at checkout.
What 200 Points Gets You
Toad&Co redeems points in steps: 200 points for $10 off, 400 for $20, 600 for $30, 800 for $40 and 1,000 for $50. The birthday award is the first step by itself, so it works on its own with no other balance needed. Signing up adds 100 points too, so a member who joins before their birthday has 300 points by then, enough for $10 off with 100 left toward the next step.
The Top-Tier Birthday Gift
Toad&Co’s tiers move with spend: Do Gooder is free to join, Earth Advocate starts at $300, Eco Warrior at $500 and Mountain Mover at $1,000. Every tier gets the birthday points. Mountain Mover members also get a separate birthday gift, and Toad&Co doesn’t say what the gift includes, so there’s nothing to plan around there.
Using The Reward
Only one reward or discount code works on each order, so the $10 can’t be stacked with a promo code. Rewards don’t expire once they’re activated in your account. Points do expire after a full year of inactivity, but any action on your account, such as placing an order, protects them for another year. If you return something you bought with a reward, it’s still returnable under Toad&Co’s normal returns policy, but the points you spent aren’t refunded.
