& Other Stories doesn’t have a birthday offer. The closest things are 10% off one order for joining its free Member program, 10% off your next order for subscribing to the newsletter, and 15% off for US students. None of the pages we read mentions a birthday.
What & Other Stories Is
The Terms of Use say “& Other Stories is a brand owned by H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB,” and its marketing consent line calls it “a brand of the H&M Group.” Its help pages mention its clothing collections, a beauty range and its own gift cards, which work “both in-store and on stories.com.”
What The Member Program Gives You
The banner across the site reads “Join our collective and get 10% off one order.” The Member Terms describe what else membership means: “early access to promotions and collections, exclusive offers, and more.” They also say “The Stories Member Program is free of charge and no purchase is necessary to become a member.” You need a valid email address and have to be an adult where you live, or 16 with a parent or guardian’s consent.
What The Newsletter Gives You
A second banner says “Subscribe to our newsletter and receive 10% off your next order.” The help page covers how a code works: “you can’t combine the code with other discounts,” and codes are case sensitive. Joining the Member program and subscribing look like two separate 10% offers, but the FAQ’s no-combining rule means we’d plan on using one of them, not both on the same order.
The 15% Student Discount
The student page says “If you’re a US student with a valid student ID card, you’ll get 15% off on stories.com and in our US stores.” Online, you verify your student status through Student Beans or Unidays, collect a code and enter it at checkout. In a store, you bring your student ID card and the Student Beans app.
Before You Order
The FAQ gives you 14 days of receiving an order to return it and says “all sale items are Final Sale and cannot be returned.” Mail returns have a $5 shipping fee deducted from the refund, and the FAQ offers returning in a store as the alternative.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said & Other Stories had no birthday discount and that you could get 10% off by signing up for the newsletter, and the pages we read back both points. It then sent readers to TopCashback for a cashback deal, which we couldn’t find, and it described three design ateliers in Paris, Stockholm and Los Angeles. The brand’s About page refused our request, so we couldn’t check that last line.
No Real Cashback Route Found
& Other Stories’ page on Fluz lists 1.5% cashback on a Fluz virtual card, which matches the general rate the app’s FAQ gives for virtual-card purchases, so nothing on that page is specific to & Other Stories. TopCashback’s page for the brand returned a not-found error, and so did Price.com’s. A page that doesn’t load isn’t proof that no cashback exists, but we found no & Other Stories rate worth sending you to.
What Was Actually Checked
& Other Stories’ Member Terms and Conditions, FAQ, student discount page, discount-code page and Terms of Use were read on 2026-10-13, along with Fluz, TopCashback and Price.com. The About page returned an Access Denied message, so we didn’t use it.
Eligibility and Cost
Membership is free. The Member Terms limit it to individuals rather than companies, with one membership per person and one account per email address. The student discount is for US students with a valid student ID card.
