Ciao! in Sylvania, Ohio invites guests to “enter your birthday and anniversary for a gift on your special day!” on its e-club sign-up, and nothing on the site says what the gift is. The club is free, and the form is short.
What Ciao! Is
This is one restaurant, not a chain. The home page calls it “Ciao! Ristorante in Sylvania,” says it was “founded in 1992” and describes it as “a local favorite in the greater Toledo area, known for classic country Italian cuisine.” The info page adds that it’s “locally owned and operated,” and gives the address as 6064 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560. So this is a Toledo-area offer, worth the drive only if Sylvania is already on your list.
How To Get The Ciao! Birthday Deal
The sign-up box on the home page reads: “Sign up to receive a welcome offer! Also enter your birthday and anniversary for a gift on your special day!” The Let’s Connect page holds the form, which asks for a first and last name, an email address, a phone number, a ZIP code, a birthday and an anniversary. The form says that by submitting it you “agree to join our email club” and that you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
What The Gift Might Be
The site doesn’t say. It doesn’t name a dessert, a dollar amount or a percentage, and it doesn’t say how long the gift lasts after it arrives or whether you need to bring anything with you. If you’d like to know before you book, the restaurant’s number is (419) 314-3957, and the hours listed are 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm to 10:00pm Friday and Saturday, and 4:00pm to 9:00pm Sunday. The pages do show a reservations link and an order-online link.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said the restaurant gives a complimentary dessert or a discount on the meal, and that you get it by mentioning your birthday when you book or arrive. The site says nothing about a dessert, a discount or mentioning the occasion. What it does say is that the gift goes to people who put their birthday into the e-club form.
What Was Actually Checked
Ciao!’s home page, Let’s Connect page, info page and specials page were read on 2026-10-08. The Let’s Connect form loads with scripts, so it was read through headless Chrome as well as a plain fetch. The pages carry no terms for the gift, no date and no age rule.
Eligibility and Cost
The e-club is free. The site names no minimum spend, no expiry and no limit on party size.
