Milk Bar has no birthday reward. The only birthday-adjacent thing on the site is a generic “Half Birthday” promo code for $10 off, which is a marketing offer open to anyone rather than a benefit tied to your actual birth date.
What Milk Bar Is
Milk Bar is an American bakery founded by pastry chef Christina Tosi, known for Milk Bar Pie, compost cookies and its birthday cake flavor built on funfetti and rainbow sprinkles. It sells cakes, cookies and truffles through its own stores and nationwide shipping, and the birthday cake product line is central to the brand.
The Irony Is Worth Naming
Milk Bar’s most recognizable product is literally a birthday cake. The brand built its identity on it.
And it runs no birthday rewards benefit. That gap is the reason this post exists, because a reader is more likely to assume a birthday offer here than almost anywhere else on the list.
What The Half Birthday Code Actually Is
A $10 off promo code branded around the half-birthday idea. It is a general marketing promotion, not tied to the date on any account, and anyone can use it whether or not it is anywhere near their half birthday.
Treat it as an ordinary discount code rather than a birthday benefit. It may be live, it may not, and it has nothing to do with when you were born.
The Signup Field That Leads Nowhere
The newsletter signup collects a birthday field, which reasonably suggests something arrives on the date.
The site describes no birthday-specific reward attached to it. A collected birth date is not the same as a birthday program, and this is the clearest example on the site of the two being confused.
This one is worth a recheck in future rather than treating as permanently settled, since a dedicated rewards program page was not located and the brand may run something that is not publicly documented.
No Cashback Route
Nothing merchant-specific was found. Fluz’s generic 1.5% virtual-card rate applies, which does not count as a real route under this site’s standard, though the card works here as anywhere: Fluz
How To Tell A Birthday Program From A Birthday Field
The test is whether anything published says what you get. A program names a reward, or a value, or a window, somewhere in its terms or FAQ. A birthday field on a signup form only tells you the company stores the date.
Companies collect birth dates for segmentation and age-gating as much as for gifts. Bob Evans on this site collects no birthday at all and gives nothing; Milk Bar collects one and still publishes nothing. Neither is evidence of a reward, and the presence of the field is the weakest signal there is.
Q&A

Q: What is the Half Birthday code?
A: A general $10 off promotion, not tied to your birth date.
Q: Why does the signup ask for my birthday?
