Airbnb doesn’t run a guest loyalty or rewards program of any kind right now, so there’s no birthday benefit to check for. A genuine 5% cashback rate through Fluz is the real option instead.
What Airbnb Is
Airbnb is an online marketplace for booking short-term stays, experiences, and services, connecting travelers with individual hosts rather than operating its own properties. Founded in 2008, it has grown into one of the largest platforms of its kind, operating in locations worldwide.
What Was Actually Checked
Airbnb’s own Help Center was checked directly. The only rewards-adjacent program it runs is a guest referral program, offering travel credit for referring friends, which is not a loyalty program and has no birthday component. Airbnb’s newsroom separately confirms a partner integration letting guests earn Delta SkyMiles on qualifying Experiences and Services bookings, but that’s Delta’s own program extended to Airbnb, not something Airbnb runs itself, and it carries no birthday angle either.
A Loyalty Program Is Reportedly Coming, Just Not Yet
Airbnb’s own CEO has publicly said a loyalty program is in development, but nothing has launched as of this writing. Any list describing an “Airbnb Rewards” birthday perk right now is describing something that doesn’t exist yet.
The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate
Fluz sells Airbnb gift cards at a confirmed 5% cashback rate, a real, merchant-specific rate rather than the generic 1.5% card. TopCashback lists Airbnb, but this site couldn’t confirm a specific current rate on the page directly, so no number is published here.
Eligibility and Cost
There’s no loyalty program to join. The referral program is free and pays out in travel credit, unrelated to birthdays.
