Bonefish Grill doesn’t have a birthday reward, though its sign-up form asks for your birthday and hands every new Dine Rewards member a “complimentary $10 reward.” The birthday box is marked optional and nothing on the pages says what Bonefish does with it.
What Bonefish Grill Is
Bonefish Grill is a seafood restaurant chain, and its Dine Rewards program is shared with three sister restaurants. The program’s home page says you “earn points and redeem rewards across four great restaurants”: Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. All four belong to Bloomin’ Brands.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said Bonefish Grill has no birthday reward, and the pages read this time agree. It also did the math on the points: 350 points takes 70 dollars of spending to produce a 5 dollar reward, which works out to roughly 7.1% back. That math holds up against the FAQ.
What The Sign-Up Form Gives You
The Bonefish Grill home page says “Join Dine Rewards and a complimentary $10 reward is yours!” The form asks for an email address, ZIP code, first and last name, a “Birthday (optional)” entry and a phone number. By signing up you acknowledge “that I am 18 years of age or older.” The fine print says the $10 reward is “valid for new enrollments on BonefishGrill.com,” that it “can be used to cover the cost of food or non-alcoholic beverages,” and that the offer is “issued to member wallet and expires 90 days from sign-up.” It’s a welcome reward and not a birthday one, but if your birthday dinner is within the next three months it works the same way at the table.
How Dine Rewards Pays Off
Members earn “5 points for every dollar spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages.” Every 350 points earns a “$5 off” reward. Points expire six months after they’re earned, rewards expire 90 days after they’re earned, and the FAQ says each reward “must be used in full when redeemed.” Alcohol, gift card purchases, catering, delivery fees and third-party orders are excluded from the $10 reward. At the table you give your server the phone number on your account, or you log in at checkout when you order online.
The Real Route: 7.5% Cashback On Bonefish Grill Gift Cards
Fluz’s Bonefish Grill page says “Buy a gift card to earn 7.5% cashback at Bonefish Grill.” The e-gift cards run from 10 to 500 dollars and are “redeemable in-store only,” so this is a route for dinners you eat in the restaurant, not for online orders. The Dine Rewards FAQ doesn’t say whether paying with a gift card still earns points, so ask your server before you rely on getting both. TopCashback’s Bonefish Grill address returned a not-found page, and Price.com returned nothing for Bonefish Grill. Rates move, so check the number the day you order.
What Was Actually Checked
Bonefish Grill’s home page, Experience page and email sign-up page, the Dine Rewards home page, FAQ and terms, and Wikipedia were read on 2026-10-08, along with Fluz, Price.com and TopCashback. None of the Bonefish pages mentions a birthday benefit, and the pages carry no dates.
Eligibility and Cost
Dine Rewards is free, and you need to be 18 or older. The sign-up reward and points apply at all four restaurants in the program.
