Run the math and 350 points takes $70 of qualifying spend to produce $5, which is about 7.1% back. That’s a strong rate for restaurant loyalty, and it’s the reason to join.

Alcohol doesn’t earn. At a chain whose bar program is part of the draw, that’s a real carve-out rather than a technicality, and it means a dinner with drinks earns on less than the check total.

The 90-Day Clock Is The Catch

A $5 reward that expires in 90 days is only worth $5 if you were going back anyway. For an occasional visitor, rewards can expire between visits and the effective return drops well below 7%.

The four-brand pooling helps here more than it looks. If you rarely go to Bonefish but eat at Outback, the points still accumulate to the same balance and the reward is spendable at whichever of the four you reach first inside the window.

What Dine Rewards Says About Birthdays

Nothing. The program page promises points, rewards, and “other surprises and offers along the way,” which is the same discretionary language used across the industry and commits to nothing dated.

The FAQ covers sign-in trouble, missing points, password resets, redeeming, earning, point expiry, reward expiry, how many rewards you can earn, the app, what a qualified dollar is, and who to contact. No birthday entry exists.

Restaurant chains rarely carry merchant-specific cashback, and no Bonefish-specific rate was found.
