Burger King’s birthday reward is one of the few in this category read straight from the actual legal document, not from a marketing page or a third-party report. A free item on the day, plus double points for the whole month.
What Burger King Is
Burger King is one of the largest fast food hamburger chains in the world, known for the Whopper and its char-broiling cooking method, with tens of thousands of locations globally under a heavily franchised structure.
How To Get The Burger King Birthday Deal
To get it, join Royal Perks and add your birthday to your account. There’s no advance-notice requirement stated; having your birthday on file is what triggers both the double points and the free item.
What Was Actually Checked
The Royal Perks Terms and Conditions state directly: “Birthday Bonus: Member will: (1) earn double (2x) Crowns for Eligible Transactions made during the Member’s birthday month…; and (2) be eligible to receive one (1) free select menu item (which may include, for example, an Original Chicken Sandwich, a Whopper Jr., a Cheeseburger, an 8pc Chicken Fries, a Soft Serve or a seasonal item…) on the Member’s birthday.” Note the split: double points run the entire month, but the free item is a single-day benefit, tied to the actual birthday date rather than the month.
One Sharp Edge Worth Knowing Before You Sign Up
The same terms state: “Birthday information cannot be updated more than one (1) time.” Get the date right the first time you enter it. A typo isn’t a quick fix here the way it might be on a program with no such restriction.
Eligibility and Cost
Royal Perks is free to join, with no membership fee. There’s no minimum age stated beyond standard account-creation requirements, and no purchase history needed before the birthday benefits apply.
