Carnival has no birthday reward. Carnival Rewards’ complete current terms and benefits pages were read directly, and nothing in them is tied to a member’s birthday. A genuine 11% cashback rate through Fluz is the real option instead.
What Carnival Is
Carnival is one of the largest cruise lines in the world. Its loyalty program, previously called VIFP Club, was renamed Carnival Rewards on September 1, 2026. It is known for a more casual, fun-focused cruise experience compared to some competitors.
What Was Actually Checked
Carnival Rewards’ complete current Terms and Conditions and its full Benefits page, both confirmed as substantive documents covering the Platinum and Diamond tiers and onboard credit perks, were read directly. Zero occurrences of “birthday” appear in either document.
An Expired “Birthday” Promo, Not a Standing Benefit
Carnival previously ran an “Exclusive Birthday Limited Time Deal” tied to a specific rate code, but its own terms show a booking deadline in March 2025 for sailings through December 2025, both now expired. Like Royal Caribbean’s similarly named promotions, it never required the guest’s actual birthday to fall in any window; it was a promo name open to any VIFP member during the booking period. Carnival also sells a paid “Happy Birthday Cake Package,” a stateroom decoration and cake purchase, not a free loyalty reward.
The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate
Fluz sells Carnival gift cards at a confirmed 11% cashback rate, a real, merchant-specific rate. Neither TopCashback nor Price.com carries a working cashback rate for Carnival; Price.com’s own page states cashback isn’t currently available.
Eligibility and Cost
Carnival Rewards is free to join, with tiers based on cruise history. None of its stated benefits are birthday-specific.
