How To Get The Chipotle Birthday Deal
Join Chipotle Rewards in the Chipotle app or on chipotle.com. Registration asks for your birthday, so it goes on your account from the start. Chipotle doesn’t say how far ahead of your birthday you need to join. When your birthday month arrives, pick your reward from chips, guac, queso or a drink. You redeem it with the digital reward code in your account, at a participating Chipotle in the United States.
Using The Reward
Chipotle’s terms say rewards expire if they aren’t used within 60 days after they’re added to your account, so there’s no reason to wait until the last day of the month. Chipotle typically allows one reward per order, which means a reward, a coupon and a promo code can’t be combined. If you want the birthday reward and a points reward on the same day, plan on two separate orders.
Worth Joining For More Than The Birthday
New members get free chips and guac at sign up with a minimum purchase, and Chipotle adds free bonus rewards through the year. Every $1 you spend earns 10 points. Chipotle lists what points buy: 85 points for a side tortilla, 350 for chips, 400 for a fountain drink, 500 for guac, 700 for double protein, 815 for 50% off an entree, 1,625 for an entree and 1,775 for an entree and chips. One qualifying purchase a year keeps your points from expiring.
If You’re In College
Chipotle runs a separate program for college students called Chipotle U. It has its own rewards, so a student can check it alongside the regular program.
