How To Get The Dunkin’ Birthday Deal
Join Dunkin’ Rewards in the Dunkin’ App or at dunkindonuts.com and put your birthday on your account. The birthday field is optional, and Dunkin’ says that without it you won’t receive birthday offers. Then make your purchases in store or in the Dunkin’ App during the three days around your birthday. Dunkin’ doesn’t say whether the bonus needs to be turned on first, so look at the points on your receipt in the app after your first order.
What Triple Points Is Worth
Dunkin’ Rewards members earn 10 points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases. Triple that comes to 30 points per $1. Rewards start at 150 points, which normally takes $15 in purchases, so $5 spent during your birthday window earns 150 points, enough for the first reward.
What Counts As A Purchase
Qualifying products are Dunkin’ food and beverages bought at participating Dunkin’ locations. Gift card purchases and reloads, reward coupon redemptions, retail merchandise, Keurig brewers, newspapers, charity donations and purchases on shopdunkin.com don’t earn points. Points can’t be earned on orders placed through third-party delivery platforms.
Using The Points
Once you have enough points you turn them into a reward in the app. Standard rewards are valid for 30 days from the day you activate them, so activate one when you’re ready to use it. Points expire 12 months after the last day of the month you earned them.
Boosted Status
A member who makes 12 qualifying visits in a calendar month earns 12 points per $1 for the next three months. It’s a separate perk from the birthday bonus.
