Georgia Aquarium gives Georgia residents free admission on their actual birthday, confirmed directly on its own site. No membership is required, but the offer is restricted to Georgia residents and must be redeemed in person, the same day.
What Georgia Aquarium Is
Georgia Aquarium, located in Atlanta, is one of the largest aquariums in the world, known for its beluga whales, whale sharks, and large ocean-habitat exhibits.
How To Get The Georgia Aquarium Birthday Deal
To get it, visit the Aquarium in person on your actual birthday with a valid Georgia ID (or a birth certificate for children), or another proof of Georgia residency like a utility bill or statement showing your address. Admission is free that day, redeemed only at the ticket window, no advance purchase.
What Was Actually Checked
Georgia Aquarium’s own Georgia Birthday Offer page states directly: “Your Aquarium admission is FREE” on your birthday, restricted to “Georgia residents only,” requiring a “Valid Georgia ID (or a copy of a birth certificate for children).” The offer “can only be obtained onsite and must be redeemed on the day of your birthday. No exceptions and no refunds for previously purchased tickets,” and “can not be combined with any other offer.”
Adults and Children Both Qualify, But Only Georgia Residents
The offer covers both adults (with a valid Georgia ID) and children (with a birth certificate as an alternative), with no age ceiling stated. The one hard restriction that matters most: it’s limited to Georgia residents, confirmed directly by the Aquarium’s own page, not softened or worked around by proof of residency from another state.
Eligibility and Cost
No membership or advance signup is required. The only requirements are Georgia residency, valid ID, and redeeming in person on the actual day of your birthday.

Compare This To
San Diego Zoo, Bronx Zoo, and other zoos and aquariums checked in this project have no birthday benefit at all, making Georgia Aquarium’s offer a genuine outlier.
Q: What if my birthday falls on a day the Aquarium is closed?
A: The offer’s own terms require same-day, in-person redemption, so it isn’t described as transferable to another date.
