The Google Store has no birthday reward for you. The only “birthday” on its pages is Google’s own: a sale celebrating the company’s 28th anniversary that ran September 13 through 27, 2026. No cashback route turned up either.
What the Google Store Is
The Google Store sells Google’s Pixel phones, Fitbit wearables and more directly from Google. It has physical stores in New York and Mountain View. Google’s own story says it began in 1995 at Stanford University, founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, and that in August 1998 Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim wrote them a check for $100,000 and “Google Inc. was officially born.”
Return and price policies are laid out in the store’s support pages: you can return items within 15 days of receiving them, and the store has a price match policy and a trade-in program.
What Was Actually Checked
The Google Store homepage, its magazine and referral pages, the Google One plans page and several Play Points and Google Play support pages were read. The Google Store has no rewards program page. Paths that sound like one, including pixel perks, store rewards and student discount, just redirect to the homepage. Google Play Points has levels starting at Bronze at 1 point per $1 and Silver at 1.10, and none of it mentions a birthday.
Google does ask for your birthday when you create a Google Account: “You’ll be asked to add your birthday and gender.” Google’s support page says it’s used to determine your age group, show a Search birthday theme, and for account security and personalization. None of that is a discount.
The Anniversary Sale Is Not Your Birthday
Google’s store magazine ran a page promoting a sale in September: “Celebrate Google’s 28th birthday with special savings on the latest Google Pixel phones, Fitbit wearables, and more.” It ran from September 13 through September 27, 2026, and the page said deals end that day. It’s the company’s anniversary, not yours, and it applies to everyone. The India store ran its own version, a Tap Party game with a promo code, which is the same idea.
No Real Cashback Route Found
Fluz has no Google Store listing, and its general Google page shows only the 1.5% store rate it shows for nearly everything. TopCashback returned a 404 for every Google Store address tried, and so did Price.com. There’s no merchant-specific cashback offer to point to.
Eligibility and Cost
There’s no membership to join. The one thing worth knowing is the Pixel referral program: “Share 10% off a Pixel phone and get $50 in Google Store credit each time a friend buys one. Refer 10 people and earn up to $500 total.” It isn’t a birthday perk, but it’s the store’s real way to earn credit.
