Longchamp has no birthday reward on any page read, and the one place it asks for your birthday, the account signup form, doesn’t say what the date is for. The newsletter promises news, events and pre-sale invitations, and the VIP sale is by invitation, so there’s no birthday perk to join ahead of your month.
What Longchamp Is
Wikipedia describes the company this way: Longchamp “is a French leather goods company, founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain.” Its own story page says “On 1 February 1948, Jean Cassegrain paves the way for a great adventure in French leather goods,” and that “Right from the start, the Maison sets the tone by creating a leather-covered pipe.” The shop lists bags, small leather goods, accessories and ready-to-wear, along with the Le Pliage collection.
What The Pages Say About Birthdays
Longchamp’s account signup form has a Birthday field, along with Phone and Communication preferences. The page’s text doesn’t say what the birthday is used for, and no offer is attached to it.
The US personal data policy is the only other place the date turns up. It lists “Date of birth;” among the data collected for “Creation and management of customer accounts” and again for “Promotional operations (Personal Data collected during a competition or promotional offer).” That tells you Longchamp can use a birthday for promotions, but no page read describes a birthday promotion.
What The Newsletter Offers
The newsletter page opens with “Let’s stay in touch. Sign up for our newsletter to discover our stories, collections, and invitations,” and goes on to say before anyone else. Under the heading about its advantages it says “Longchamp loves to treat you all year round! Enjoy exclusive benefits like:” and lists “News about our products and services,” “Special events” and “Pre-sale invitations.” No discount and no birthday is in that list.
The VIP Sale Is By Invitation
Every page on the US site carries “VIP SALE ACCESS” in its header. The VIP sale page reads “YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO OUR VIP SALE!” and tells you to “Log in or register now with the email address from your invitation.” The version of the page that was read was for a Spring-Summer sale running “From May 22nd to 24th,” with no year given. The page’s text doesn’t say how invitations are chosen, so nothing there ties it to a birthday.
No Real Cashback Route Found
TopCashback’s Longchamp addresses return not-found pages, and Fluz returns a 404 for Longchamp. Price.com’s Longchamp page says “Cash back and coupons are not currently available for Longchamp.” A page that doesn’t load isn’t proof that no cashback exists anywhere, but no rate turned up on any of the three. Rates move, so it’s worth a quick look before a big purchase.
What Was Actually Checked
Longchamp’s US home page, FAQ, newsletter page, VIP sale page, account creation and signup pages, personal data policy, terms of sale, services, legal and story pages were read with a plain page fetch on 2026-10-03. The newsletter and FAQ pages for the UK, France, Singapore, China, Japan and Korea were read as well, and none of them mentions a birthday offer in English or in the local language. Wikipedia’s company summary was read from its article page.
Eligibility and Cost
What Longchamp does put in writing is service. The footer on its pages lists “Complimentary ground shipping,” Click & Collect, and “Free returns within 30 days.” Those are written as part of buying, and none of them is tied to a birthday.
