Does Sunnyside have a birthday discount?
No. Sunnyside Rewards exists and it is free to join, but no birthday benefit is attached to it. Birthdays are not mentioned on the rewards page, and no birthday question appears anywhere in the program FAQ.
What Sunnyside Rewards actually gives you
One point for every dollar spent, on every purchase at a participating location. You can start redeeming once you have forty points or one dollar in rewards, which is a much lower bar than the hundred-point minimum most dispensary programs hold you to.
Points also stack with other promotions rather than competing with them, so a reward can sit on top of a sale price. Allow up to seventy-two hours for points to appear in your account after a purchase, and occasionally longer.
The Massachusetts limit
Adult use shoppers in Massachusetts can only redeem rewards on non-medicated product. Points still accumulate normally, so it is the redemption that is restricted rather than the earning, and the value has to come out somewhere other than the thing you probably came in for.
Who can join
Sunnyside operates medical and adult use dispensaries, so joining means meeting your own state’s requirement to buy in the first place, which is either being 21 or over or holding a medical card. That is a harder gate than the loyalty sign-ups on the rest of this site, and it is worth sorting out before a birthday rather than on the day.
There is no cashback route either
Cashback portals do not carry dispensaries. Sunnyside returns nothing on Fluz, Price.com or TopCashback, and that is a fact about the category rather than about this brand, because cannabis sits outside the payment networks those services run on.
What to do instead
Sunnyside runs promotions by state rather than by customer, and it keeps a separate deals page for each market it operates in. Checking the page for your state is more useful than waiting for a birthday offer that the program does not run.
