Target’s Circle birthday reward is real, confirmed directly from Target’s own help center: 5% off a future purchase. No purchase required to unlock it, just your birthday on file.
What Target Is
Target is a general merchandise retail chain selling clothing, home goods, groceries and electronics, known for its Target Circle loyalty program and its private-label brands.
How To Get The Target Birthday Deal
To get it, join Target Circle and add your birth date to your account before your birthday arrives. If you enroll on your actual birthday, the reward is issued the same day.
What Was Actually Checked
Target’s own help article confirms directly: “5% off a future purchase the day of your birthday, which is valid for 30 days.” The discount appears in the Wallet tab on the Target app or on your dashboard at target.com/circle. Target’s disclosure notes “restrictions apply” without detailing every exclusion on the same page.
Eligibility and Cost
Target Circle is free to join, with no membership fee. Adding your birth date is the only requirement; no purchase history is needed to qualify for this specific reward.
