Ted Baker doesn’t have a birthday offer, and its email sign-up asks for an email address and nothing else. The closest thing is a one-time welcome code: “Sign up to hear about our exclusive offers and enjoy 15% off your order as a welcome gift.”
What Ted Baker Is
Wikipedia calls it “a British clothing brand founded in 1988 in Glasgow, Scotland.” Its About page says “Since 1988, Ted Baker has been designing premium clothing and accessories for women and men” and “Ted Baker has been owned by the Authentic Brands Group since 2022.”
What Happened To The US Stores
Ted Baker’s US stores didn’t survive 2024. Wikipedia reports that on 24 April 2024 Ted Baker Canada filed for creditor protection, that “Ted Baker U.S. declared Chapter 15 bankruptcy that same day,” and that all U.S. and Canada stores would close. In November 2024 the brand came back online: “ABG in conjunction with new operators United Legwear and Apparel, relaunched the brand online with a new website and new products.” The About page answers the obvious question, “IS THE OFFICIAL TED BAKER BRAND STILL TRADING?”, with “Yes.” It also says the products are “primarily available globally at tedbaker.com” and that Ted Baker partners with “official retailers such as Nordstrom, Next, Bloomingdales, and John Lewis.”
The 15% Welcome Code
The offer terms page gives the rules. The code is “valid for a one-time use and is available exclusively to customers located in the United States,” and it’s “valid for 30 days from the date you receive your initial welcome email containing the code.” It “applies to full-priced items only and excludes sale items, outlet products, gift cards, and delivery charges.” The terms add “This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or offers.” If you return something bought with the code, “your refund will reflect the discounted price paid.”
What Else The Site Advertises
The home page shows a Spend & Save ladder: “20% off $150 | 25% off $250 | 30% Off $500,” marked “Automatically applied at checkout.” That reads as a discount that grows with the size of your order. The offer terms page has no section for it, so we can’t tell you what it excludes. The terms do say the welcome code can’t be combined with other promotions, which means a first-time buyer would use one or the other. On a $300 order, 25% off is $75 and the 15% code is $45, if the tiers apply the way they read. A separate banner offers free delivery on US orders over $200, and the terms say the $200 is counted “after discounts are applied and before any delivery charges.” Standard delivery otherwise costs $10.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said Ted Baker has no specific birthday discount, deal or reward, and the pages we read agree. It suggested signing up for the newsletter or following the brand’s social channels to hear about offers. The newsletter does come with something concrete, the 15% welcome code above, which the old post never mentioned.
No Real Cashback Route Found
Ted Baker’s page on Fluz returned a not-found error, TopCashback’s Ted Baker page did the same, and Price.com’s page came back empty. A page that doesn’t load isn’t proof that no cashback exists, but we found no Ted Baker rate to send you to.
What Was Actually Checked
Ted Baker’s home page, newsletter sign-up page, offer terms, About page, shipping and returns page, customer service page and privacy policy were read on 2026-10-12. The Help & FAQs page loads its answers through script, and they didn’t show up for us, so we didn’t use that page. None of the pages we did read mentions a birthday, and the sign-up form has a single field for an email address. Wikipedia, Fluz, TopCashback and Price.com were read the same day.
Eligibility and Cost
The welcome code is for customers in the United States, and the terms limit it to one use. The sign-up page points to the Help & FAQs and the privacy policy for how to unsubscribe.
