What The Iconic Is
The Iconic’s About page says “Founded in 2011, THE ICONIC is the leading online fashion, sport and lifestyle retailer in Australia and New Zealand.” It’s based in Sydney and sells more than 1,000 brands, including a portfolio of exclusive brands that only it carries. In 2025 it launched a loyalty program called Front Row, and the birthday reward lives inside it.
Why This Isn’t A Deal For US Shoppers
Two rules close the door. The shipping help page answers “Do you ship internationally?” with the sentence above. The Front Row terms add that “To be eligible to join THE ICONIC Front Row, a member must reside in Australia or New Zealand and be aged 18 years or over.” Even the dollar amounts are local: the terms say “References to currency, dollars or $ means Australian dollars.”
How The Birthday Reward Works
Creating an account enrolls you automatically: “By registering for a new Customer Account, an eligible member will automatically join THE ICONIC Front Row.” The reward needs one more step. The help page says “To receive a Birthday Reward, make sure your date of birth is added to your THE ICONIC account before the first day of your birthday month. You’ll need to provide your day, month and year.” Its example is a 2 November birthday, which has to be saved by 31 October. The reward is issued “on the first day of a member’s birthday month,” and once it arrives it “should automatically appear on the checkout page when you are signed in to your account.”
You get one date of birth per account. If you change it after the reward has arrived, the terms say you won’t get another one “for another 365 day period.”
What The Reward Is Worth
The amount depends on your Front Row status level. The program overview lists a $10 Birthday Reward at Insider, $15 at Stylist, $20 at Muse and $30 at VIP. Every new member starts at the bottom: “everyone starts at Level 1: Insider when they join.” That makes a new member’s birthday reward the $10 one.
It’s a short window. The terms say “Birthday Rewards will expire 30 days after the date of issue unless otherwise stated,” and the help page adds that your order has to be “at least $5 more than the value of the Reward,” excluding delivery fees and gift cards. A $10 reward needs a $15 order. The page also warns that applying a birthday reward can pull your cart below the free shipping threshold, in which case standard shipping applies.
Not To Be Confused With The Store’s Birthday Sale
The Iconic also celebrates its own birthday. Its help page says “The Birthday Sale is scheduled to run from Monday, September 21 to Tuesday, October 6, 2026,” with selected offers of up to 50% off. That sale is about the store’s anniversary, not yours, and it had already ended when we read the page. The older 20% personal birthday voucher is gone too: the Front Row help page says “the 20% Birthday Voucher will be discontinued by the end of October 2025” and that the new reward replaces it from 1 November 2025.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post said to sign up for the newsletter, keep an account with your birthdate in the profile, and expect a code or offer around your birthday. The account and birthdate part holds up, and the terms require the full date of birth, not just the month. The newsletter isn’t a requirement on the pages we read. The reward is issued on the first day of the month, not around the birthday, and it’s a set dollar amount tied to your level, not a code.
No Real Cashback Route Found
The Iconic’s page on Fluz returned a not-found error, TopCashback’s The Iconic page did the same, and Price.com’s page came back empty. A page that doesn’t load isn’t proof that no cashback exists, but we found no The Iconic rate to send you to.
