Free to join, with a set amount
Backcountry: 10% off your whole cart from a single-use code emailed in your birthday month, free for Summit Club members, and 20% for Summit Club+ members, who pay $49 a year. Creating a Backcountry account or signing in makes you a member. Backcountry doesn’t say how long the code lasts, and the brand and category exclusions are in the fine print of the email. Toad&Co: 200 birthday points for every free Toad&Co Rewards member, which redeems for exactly $10 off. Create an account and add your birthday at least 30 days ahead. The points arrive on your birthday, and only one reward or discount code works on each order, so the $10 can’t be stacked with a promo code. Members at the top tier also get a birthday gift, and Toad&Co doesn’t say what it includes.
Hydro Flask: 5 birthday points at the free first tier of House of Hydro, 10 at the second and 20 at the third, worth 25 cents, 50 cents and $1. It’s a top-up, not a free bottle, since you need 100 points before the first $5 redemption, and joining earns you 50 points. House of Hydro is for U.S. residents 18 or older. Hydro Flask doesn’t say when the points land, so check your account around your birthday.
A gift or offer, no amount given
KUIU: every free Inner Circle member gets a birthday offer in their birthday month, and KUIU doesn’t say what the offer is. It emails you when the offer is ready. If you add or change your birthday within 30 days of the date, KUIU delays the offer by 30 days, so add it early. Inner Circle is for U.S. residents 18 or older, and it earns 1 point per $1, with a $50 reward at 1,000 points.
Rapha: a birthday gift for Rapha Cycling Club members, who pay $95 a year in the U.S., and Rapha doesn’t say what the gift is. Shoppers who don’t join have no birthday offer from Rapha. Members also get 24-hour early access to launches, members’ price shipping and complimentary coffee on rides, so count the birthday gift as a bonus on the membership.
