B&H’s About page says “Your Creative Partner Since 1973” and “We are a proud, family owned business built on the pillars of honesty and treating people right.” It lists “nearly half a million items in stock, every day” and a “New York City SuperStore (at the corner of 34th Street and 9th Avenue).”
No Real Cashback Route Found
Price.com’s B&H page says “Cash back and coupons are not currently available for B&H Photo Video.” TopCashback’s B&H addresses all returned not-found pages, and Fluz doesn’t list B&H under any of the four address variants tried. B&H was also absent from TopCashback’s cameras and photo category page, which isn’t a complete list. Rates move, so check the portals again before a big purchase.
What Was Actually Checked
B&H’s live site refused plain page requests, so every page was read from an archived copy: the home page (September 27, 2026), policies (September 4, 2026), payments and rewards (September 21, 2026), the Payboo credit card page (August 13, 2026), About (August 29, 2026), returns (September 24, 2026) and education (September 23, 2026). The word birthday appears nowhere on the policies page, and “birth date” shows up only for support, identity verification and used-item sale ID checks. The newsletter preferences form loads through script, so whether it asks for a birthday is unknown.

The rewards page says: “When you sign up for a B&H account, you’re automatically enrolled to earn back a percentage on gear you love. Every time you buy a qualifying item, we’ll email you a unique 16-digit Rewards Points number.” Points convert about 40 to 60 days after shipment, and “Rewards Points expire 6 months after their issue dates.” The page also says B&H “may cancel or modify it at any time.”
The Payboo card page says: “Your choice of everyday benefits when you use the B&H Payboo credit card. Save the Tax: You pay the tax, we pay you back – instantly!” It lists no annual fee and Comenity Capital Bank as the issuer, with a purchase APR of 35.99%, and the tax offer isn’t available in DE, MT, NH, OR and PR.

The education page says “Verify your student status through our partner UNiDAYS” and “Save Up to 40%,” which is a student deal, not a birthday one. The returns page says you may return an item within 30 days of the delivery date, with a possible “minimum 15% restocking fee.” If you carry a balance, a 35.99% APR erases the sales-tax savings quickly, so the card only makes sense if you pay it off each month.
