The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate
TopCashback’s Adorama page reads “Get 4% of the price back with our Adorama Cash Back offers.” Its terms say gift-card redemption isn’t eligible, one product is excluded, and missing claims must be raised within 12 weeks. Price.com says “Earn 2% cash back at Adorama,” with a maximum of $15 per order. Fluz shows only its generic 1.5% store rate. Rates move, so check the current number before you order.
The 25 Points for Sharing Your Birthdate
Adorama’s marketing copy reads: “Join for free and earn 25pts! Plus, earn 25pts just for sharing your birthdate:” and the rewards page lists “Share Your Birthdate 25 POINTS,” with form text “Please provide a valid birth date.” The terms spell out what that is: “Members can earn a one-time 25 Point bonus when they provide their date of birth on their Account.” It pays once, for supplying the date. Nothing arrives on your birthday itself.
The rewards page also has a row labeled “Birthday Bonus,” and it’s a trap. It’s hidden on the page, and its tooltip reads “New member special! Earn 2,000 reward points ($20 value) when you make your first trade-in as an Adorama VIP Pro member.” That’s trade-in text under an old birthday label. The word birthday appears nowhere else in the terms.

Adorama’s live site refused plain page requests, so the pages were read from archived copies: the rewards page and terms (September 17, 2026), the earlier rewards marketing page (July 25, 2025) and the history page (August 26, 2026). Printique’s home page, terms and gift guide were also read, and they show no birthday offer. Printique calls itself “Printique, An Adorama Company,” and it’s a separate site from adorama.com.
Eligibility and Cost
The terms say “There is no purchase or fee required to enroll in the Program or become a VIP Member,” and enrollment is open to “Only residents of the United States and its territories who are over eighteen (18) years of age when he/she registers.” There are three tiers: VIP is free and earns 1 point per $1, VIP Perks needs a “published Net Spend threshold of $1,000 within the applicable calendar year” and resets January 1, and VIP Pro costs $49.99 a year and earns 2 points per $1. Points redeem from 500 for $5 up to 20,000 for $200. A Monthly Bonus Day falls on the first Tuesday of each month, and the Adorama Brands Sign Up Offer gives “a one-time 10% off Adorama Brands coupon (online use only)” with an email opt-in.
