Google Fi has no birthday reward for you. The only birthdays on its pages are its own: launch-anniversary promotions each April 22 that are open to everyone. No cashback route turned up either.
What Google Fi Is
Fi’s terms say its services are provided by Google North America Inc., which they describe as “a wholly owned subsidiary of Google LLC.” It began as Project Fi, announced April 22, 2015 with Sprint and T-Mobile as network partners, and was renamed Google Fi on November 28, 2018 with the words “we’re now Google Fi.”
Google’s April 2025 blog post listed Unlimited Essentials at $35 a month for 30 GB, Unlimited Standard at $50 for 50 GB and Unlimited Premium at $65 for 100 GB, so prices may have changed. Fi’s referral page says all plans include VPN by Google, hotspot tethering for 10 devices and full connectivity for select smartwatches, and its coverage page lists “200+ destinations abroad.” The free trial page says “Test service on your phone alongside your current carrier for 7 days. Cancel any time.”
What Was Actually Checked
Fi’s about, plan, coverage, free trial, referral, offers, FAQ and signup pages were read, along with its Google support pages and Google blog posts from 2015, 2018 and 2023. None mention a personal birthday benefit. The only “birth” in Fi’s terms of service is in the section on its Pay Monthly Device Plan application, where Fi says “we may collect information you provide us in connection with that application, such as your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, or other information.” That’s a credit application, not a reward. Fi’s help search loads as a script-built page and came back partial.
Fi’s Birthday Is April 22
April 22 is the day Project Fi was announced, and it’s why Fi’s promotions land on that date. Google’s blog post of April 22, 2025 said it was celebrating Fi’s 10th birthday with new promotions for new and existing Fi users, and a Pixel 9 Pro deal in it ran “until April 29, or while supplies last.” A 2019 community thread titled “Happy birthday to Fi!” announced 50% off the Pixel 3 and 3 XL for that one day. These are company anniversary sales that anyone could use, so they aren’t tied to your own birthday.
No Real Cashback Route Found
Fluz returned a not-found page for every Fi address tried, and so did TopCashback and Price.com. There’s no merchant-specific cashback offer to point to. A page that doesn’t load at a guessed address isn’t proof that none exists, but nothing turned up.
Eligibility and Cost
Fi’s referral page says “When you join Google Fi Wireless with a friend’s referral code, you both get a $60 bill credit” and “Save up to $600 when your friends join.” Your friend has to keep service active for 30 consecutive days and pay the first bill in full, and data-only SIMs and new group plan members don’t qualify. On September 28, 2026, Fi’s offers page showed 50% off select unlimited plans for 12 months on new lines, ending September 30, 2026.
