You pay your phone bill every month, so it’s fair to wonder if your carrier does anything at all when your birthday comes around. Eleven US carriers were checked against their own pages, loyalty programs and terms. None of them gives a birthday reward. T-Mobile is the only one that even hints at a birthday perk, and it never says what you’d get.

The one carrier that hints at a birthday perk
T-Mobile: a 2023 announcement says you can enter your birthday in the Tuesdays app for “the chance to get exclusive benefits on your special day.” No benefit is named, and no current T-Mobile page repeats it. A flat $50 TopCashback bonus on a new postpaid contract is the confirmed money route.
Birthdays that belong to the company
AT&T: the only birthday wording on its pages is a store sale for the shop’s own anniversary and a blog post about the company turning 147. TopCashback lists up to $80 on new wireless service, mostly flat bonuses tied to new lines and plans, and they change.
Mint Mobile: the only birthday on its pages is a blog post celebrating the company’s third birthday with a social media contest. No cashback route turned up.
Google Fi Wireless: the birthdays on its pages are its own, launch-anniversary promotions each April 22 that are open to everyone. No cashback route turned up either.
No birthday perk, a cashback bonus instead
Verizon: Verizon Shine with Verizon Dollars says nothing about birthdays on any page or in its terms. Price.com lists up to $68, mostly flat bonuses for new service: $67.50 for a new plan and $27 for an added line.
Metro by T-Mobile: six Metro pages were read and none mention a birthday. A flat $40 TopCashback bonus on a new prepaid line is the route that pays.
Xfinity Mobile: Xfinity Rewards was retired on January 21, 2026, and the membership that replaced it has no birthday perk. TopCashback pays a flat $10 for a line activation.
Spectrum Mobile: Spectrum’s own site shows a “Page Not Found” where a rewards page would be. The real money is a $22 TopCashback bonus on Spectrum Internet, which you need before you can add mobile.
Cricket Wireless: its old points program ended in February 2018. TopCashback pays a flat $10 on a new line activation.
Visible: the perks are referral credits and plan discounts. TopCashback pays $30 to new customers who bring their own number, with strict terms: port in a number, activate within 7 days and keep service for at least 60 days.
Boost Mobile: its own loyalty perk, Boostcoin, is earned by watching videos and finishing surveys. TopCashback lists 50% on new service plans, and Price.com caps its version at $15 an order.
