Polaroid has no birthday reward, but its free membership is worth joining before you buy. The perks on its home page are 10% off a first order and 30% off accessories all year, and neither depends on your birthday. No cashback rate turned up on any of the three portals.
What Polaroid Is
The Polaroid Membership Program is run by Polaroid International B.V. in Amsterdam, which the terms describe as “a subsidiary of Polaroid B.V.” The terms say “Membership in the Polaroid Membership Program is free. No purchase is necessary to obtain membership.” Members must be 18 or older.
The home page says: “Become a Polaroid Member to get 10% off your first order (within 30 days of signing up)… early access to special events and offers, and 30% off all accessories all year long.” It also lists “Free Standard Shipping over $75 (US only).”
No Real Cashback Route Found
TopCashback’s Polaroid and Polaroid Originals addresses both returned not-found pages, and Fluz doesn’t list Polaroid. Price.com’s Polaroid address is empty, and its Polaroid Originals address says “Cash back and coupons are not currently available for Polaroid.” Rates move, so check the portals again before a big purchase.
What Was Actually Checked
The membership terms, privacy policy, website terms, online purchase conditions, warranty policy and film subscription pages were read, and none of them contain a birthday offer. The login page takes an email address and then continues, so the fields after that step weren’t visible. The in-account list of ways to earn points sits behind the login and wasn’t read.
Two Things That Look Like a Birthday Perk but Aren’t
The first is an old loyalty page on Polaroid’s former US shop address. It says “You’ll get 500 points right away” and “Earn 100 points with every $1,” and it doesn’t match the current terms, which say “For every €1 or $1 … you spend on purchases, you earn 1 Point.” Treat the old page as out of date.
The second is the welcome offer. The 10% off a first order has to be used within 30 days of signing up, so it’s a signup perk that starts from the day you join, not from your birthday.
Eligibility and Cost
Members earn 5 points for each Creative Call they take part in through the Polaroid app, and they can earn points for certain interactions, “including but not limited to welcome Points and referral Points.” The most points you can use in a single transaction is 550. The terms describe four levels, with Level 2 at “between 200 and 1000 Points.” Polaroid also lists an extra 6-month warranty for creating an account and registering a camera or printer within 30 days, and a standard 14-day return policy on website purchases.
