Arlo has no birthday reward. Its only birthday sign is a page on the Australia store that no longer loads. The discount that does exist belongs to Arlo Secure subscribers: an extra 15% off purchases from arlo.com.

What Arlo Is

Arlo’s 2025 annual report lists its headquarters as “5770 Fleet Street, Carlsbad, California 92008.” Wikipedia’s Arlo article says it began in 2014 as a NETGEAR division and became independent in 2018. Arlo’s press release on the closing of its initial public offering says the date was “August 7, 2018,” with “11,747,250 shares of Arlo’s common stock at a price to the public of $16.00 per share,” trading on the NYSE as “ARLO.” A May 8, 2025 release carried the headline “ARLO EXCEEDS 5 MILLION PAID SUBSCRIPTION ACCOUNTS, SURPASSES $275M ANNUAL RECURRING REVENUE.”

No Real Cashback Route Found

Price.com’s Arlo page says “Cash back is not currently available for this store.” TopCashback has an Arlo page, and it shows no Arlo rate: the headline is the generic “Get money back every time you shop with over 7,000 merchants,” and the page shows “0 Reviews.” A listing with no percentage isn’t a rate you can count on. Fluz lists Arlo Technologies at “1.5% cashback,” its generic baseline. Rates move, so check the portals again before a big purchase.

What Was Actually Checked

Arlo’s US privacy notice, home page, Arlo Secure page and about page were read. The privacy notice mentions birthdays only as “birth month and year” for family members entered in Emergency Response. It also says: “From time to time, we may offer financial incentives to promote our services. This might include coupons or promotion codes when you sign up for emails. It also might include features a customer would not typically have access to use unless they are an Arlo Secure Subscriber.” No birthday reward is described. The home page has one email box in the footer. The Australia birthday sale page returned a not-found page. An Arlo account-creation page wasn’t found, since accounts are created in the Arlo app.

The Discount Arlo Does Describe

The Arlo Secure page tells subscribers they get “an extra 15% discount on your purchases from arlo.com. Terms apply.” It names the plans Smart Aware, Smart Secure and Ultra Secure, lists “60-Day Video History stored on the Arlo Secure Cloud,” and says “Eligible device owners can receive a replacement through the Arlo Theft Replacement program.” Plan prices weren’t in the text read.

Eligibility and Cost

The 15% discount depends on holding an Arlo Secure subscription, so it rewards people who already pay monthly. The store header says “Free Shipping. Easy Returns,” and the exact shipping and return terms weren’t found.
