Smart bulbs, cameras and alarm systems are easy to put on a birthday wish list, so it helps to know which brands do anything for the person who’s having one. Nine smart home brands were checked against their own pages, forms and terms. Philips Hue is the only one with a real birthday page, and it promises a treat without saying what the treat is. eufy lists “Birthday Perks” and never says what they are. None of the other seven has a birthday reward.

The one birthday page
Philips Hue: Hue’s birthday page promises “something special on your big day,” allows one promotion a year and sends it by email. No page read names the treat. Real cashback is 5% through TopCashback or 3% through Price.com.
Promises and one-time credits
eufy: it lists “Birthday Perks” and never says what they are, and the eufyCredits terms are silent on a birthday reward. The one birthday-linked credit is a one-time reward for filling in your name, phone number and date of birth. Price.com pays 3.5% cashback.
Birthdays that aren’t yours
Google Nest: the only birthday on Google’s store pages is Google’s own, a sale for the company’s 28th anniversary that ran September 13 through 27, 2026, and it’s over. No cashback route turned up.
Wyze: its “Cam Plus Birthday Week” celebrated a product’s anniversary, and the Wyze Wits points program stopped on April 30, 2026. Price.com pays a small 0.9% cashback.
Discounts, referrals and cashback
Ring: its signup form doesn’t ask for your birthday. It does have a verified-group discount for military, first responders, students and teachers, and a free 30-day trial of Ring Protect plans.
Arlo: its only birthday sign is a page on the Australia store that no longer loads. The discount that does exist is an extra 15% off arlo.com purchases for Arlo Secure subscribers.
SimpliSafe: its rewards-style program is a referral one that pays a $200 Visa gift card to the person who refers. The one cashback route is a flat $8.50 per order through Price.com.
ADT: its “ADT Rewards Program” is a referral program, a $200 Visa card for current customers who bring in a new one. ADT’s own site refused page requests, so its pages were read as archived copies, and the referral site was read live.
iRobot: it gives 10% off a first purchase to new email subscribers and a military discount of up to 15%. Real cashback is up to 8% through TopCashback or up to 2% through Price.com.
