Google’s store magazine page read: “Celebrate Google’s 28th birthday with special savings on the latest Google Pixel phones, Fitbit wearables, and more.” It ran “From September 13 through September 27, 2026,” and the page said “Act quickly: deals end on September 27, 2026.” It’s the company’s birthday and it applied to everyone. The sale text names Pixel phones, smartwatches, earbuds and Fitbit fitness trackers, and Nest devices aren’t in that list.
No Real Cashback Route Found
Price.com’s Nest page says “Cash back and coupons are not currently available for Nest.” TopCashback’s Google Nest, Google Store, Nest and Google addresses all returned not-found pages. Fluz lists Google Nest at “1.5% cashback,” its generic baseline. Rates move, so check the portals again before a big purchase.
What Was Actually Checked
The anniversary page, Google’s help page on creating a Google Account, the Google Store’s connected home category page and the Google Home Premium help page were read. The category page has an email box that says “Be the first to know about Google Store news, tips, and offers,” with no birthday text anywhere on it. The Google Account help page does say “You’ll be asked to add your birthday and gender,” but that’s part of setting up an account and it comes with no reward.
Eligibility and Cost
There’s nothing to claim. The help page says Nest Aware became Google Home Premium on October 1, 2025, so older articles that mention Nest Aware are describing the earlier name. Google One members get a store-credit perk, and it isn’t tied to a birthday either.
