Electronics stores are where a birthday gift card tends to end up, so it’s reasonable to expect one of them to give something back. Nine electronics retailers were checked against their own pages, forms and terms, and none has a birthday reward. The birthday pages that do exist are Amazon’s wish list, Woot’s own anniversary and a Best Buy shop-by-occasion filter, and one retailer has no stores left to shop in.

Birthday pages that aren’t a reward
Amazon: its Birthday Gift List is a wish list your friends can shop from, not something Amazon gives you. The one real money-back route is Fluz, which lists Amazon gift cards with 3% cashback.
Woot: the Happy Birthday Woot! Bag o’ Crap sale and the 20th Birthday SWAG Box were the company celebrating itself, and both pages read Sold Out when checked. TopCashback’s 12% is the T-shirt line and its rate on electronics is 4%, while Price.com lists up to 9%.
Best Buy: its member program rules, last updated 9/25/2026, and its FAQ don’t mention a birthday, and the create-account form has no birthday box. A page called Birthday Member Deals is a shop-by-occasion filter, not a reward. Live cashback is 4% on online purchases through TopCashback, 4% on Best Buy gift cards through Fluz, or up to 2% through Price.com.
Where the money is: cashback and coupons
Newegg: its paid Premier membership is gone, and the free replacement, Newegg+, doesn’t mention birthdays either. TopCashback says up to 5% and Price.com says 1%.
Abt Electronics: its sign-up form never asks for your birthday. It gives $25 off $250 to new email subscribers and $50 off $500 to veterans, first responders, nurses, teachers and students, plus 4% cashback on TopCashback (computers excluded). The $25 coupon can’t be combined with cashback.
Crutchfield: its own Rewards program pays 1 point per dollar spent, and none of its forms ask for your birthday. Fluz lists Crutchfield gift cards with 11.5% cashback.
No birthday reward, no cashback rate found
Back Market: no birthday reward on any page that could be read, and the data it lists collecting doesn’t include a date of birth. Its real discounts are a referral code, a student and educator code and a military code.
Micro Center: its account sign-up asks for one thing, an email or a mobile number. Member pricing is free and the Insider credit card offers 5% off.
The retailer that closed
Conn’s HomePlus: the company filed for Chapter 11 on July 23, 2024, and Wikipedia’s Conn’s article says all Conn’s and Badcock stores were permanently closed by October 31, 2024. Its website now works as a payments and bankruptcy-notices page, with no sign-up and no rewards.
