UAG’s About page says “URBAN ARMOR GEAR was founded in 2012 in Orange County, California.” It says three founders “got together and decided to create a case that could provide unrivaled protection for their phones,” and that the first iPhone case UAG developed was for the iPhone 4. Today it lists UrbanArmorGear.com among the places you can buy, alongside retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Target.
How To Get The Urban Armor Gear Birthday Deal
To get it, make a customer account. UAG’s rewards FAQ answers “Who can join?” with “Anyone and everyone! All you have to do is create a customer account on our website and you’ll be enrolled!” and adds “If you already have a customer account, just log in and you’ll be added as a member.” The perk itself reads: “BIRTHDAY REWARD // ADDITIONAL POINTS. Your birthday adventure is on us. Earn bonus birthday points each year. 100 Points = $10 off.”
What UAG Doesn’t Say
None of the three UAG pages read gives the number of birthday points, and none says where a birthday is entered, when the points are credited, or whether you have to do anything before your birthday. The 2023 Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions don’t mention a birthday at all. If a birthday reward matters to you, the honest read is that UAG promises one and hasn’t defined it. Sign up if you’d buy from UAG anyway, and treat the birthday points as a maybe.

The rewards page says “For every 100 points, score $10 toward the gear built for your next adventure,” and “Points can be used online only.” There’s a ceiling on how much you can spend at once: “each order has a maximum redemption of 500 points ($50).” The two pages disagree on expiry. The FAQ says “Points expire 12 months after earning them and are non-transferable,” while the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, revised 1/20/2023, say points “will be valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue.” Assume the shorter one.
The Real Route: A Small Cashback Rate
Price.com’s Urban Armor Gear page reads “Earn 2% cash back at Urban Armor Gear.” TopCashback’s addresses for UAG returned not-found pages, and so did Fluz. Two percent on a $50 case is about a dollar, so this is a small extra and not the reason to shop here. Rates move, so check the current number before you order.
What Was Actually Checked
The Explorer Perks page and its FAQ, the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions and the About page were read in full. Price.com’s page for UAG sits at an address without hyphens (urbanarmorgear), which is why several first tries came back not-found; the same lookup on TopCashback and Fluz found nothing under any name tried.
