Sephora’s Beauty Insider birthday gift is real and simple to claim in store, and has a real catch online. One gift a year, during your birthday month, confirmed directly against the program’s own terms.
What Sephora Is
Sephora is a prestige beauty retailer carrying makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance from hundreds of brands, both well-known and indie. It runs its own stores plus a shop-in-shop presence inside Kohl’s.
How To Get The Sephora Birthday Deal
To get it, join Beauty Insider and add your birthday to your profile. No lead time is required. Redeem any time during your birthday month, free in store, or with at least $25 in your basket online.
What Was Actually Checked
The full Beauty Insider Terms and Conditions and the dedicated birthday-gift landing page were both read end to end.
Eligibility is every Beauty Insider member, one gift per calendar year, redeemable any time during your birthday month.
In store, no purchase is required. Online, the rule is different and specific: “your basket must include a merchandise purchase of $25 or more, including discounts and after any cash redemptions are applied.” Through Sephora’s Kohl’s shop-in-shop specifically, there’s no minimum at all, a separate rule from the main site.
Gift options vary, and some sets are reserved for VIB or Rouge tier members rather than open to every Beauty Insider. The gift does not apply to orders placed through Instacart, DoorDash, or Uber Eats.
One Claim That Doesn’t Check Out
Sephora’s own terms set no lead-time rule (having your birthdate on file some number of days before your birthday), and that includes any 30-day rule. The full Terms and Conditions were searched for every mention of “birthday,” and the landing page separately, and neither states any lead-time requirement at all. Add your birthday whenever you like; nothing here says it has to be early.
What To Do
Join Beauty Insider, make sure your birthday is in your profile, and check the app or your email during your birthday month. Redeem in store with nothing else required, or online with at least $25 in your basket.
