Boost Mobile has no birthday reward. Its own loyalty perk, Boostcoin, is earned by watching videos and finishing surveys. The real money is a 50% TopCashback rate on new service plans, and Price.com caps its version at $15 an order.
What Boost Mobile Is
Boost’s site footer reads “© 2026 Boost Mobile®, a division of Boost SubscriberCo L.L.C.” Boost came to DISH through the Sprint merger. T-Mobile’s release of July 1, 2020 reports the completed “divestiture of Sprint’s prepaid wireless business to DISH Network Corporation,” covering “more than 9.3 million customers.” In August 2025, EchoStar, DISH’s parent, announced it would sell spectrum licenses to AT&T for approximately $23 billion, and said “Boost Mobile will continue to compete in the U.S. wireless market as a hybrid MNO, offering subscribers connectivity through Boost Mobile’s cloud-native 5G core and AT&T’s cell sites.” The release adds that “Boost Mobile subscribers will continue to have access to the T-Mobile network.” Nothing in it says AT&T owns Boost.
Boost’s about page advertises a “Lifetime Price Guarantee” of “$25/month price for life on our Unlimited plan.” The fine print says that price includes a $5 monthly AutoPay discount and rises to $30 if you turn AutoPay off, and that after 30GB customers may see slower speeds. The new-customer offer on one of its pages is “$10/mo for your first 3 months, then $25/mo forever,” and the home page promises “Try us for 30 days, and if you don’t like us, you get your money back.”
What Was Actually Checked
Boost’s deals, offers, benefit hub, CARES, activation, student, senior, about and refer-a-friend pages were read, plus its help center pages on Boostcoin, general terms and privacy. The word “birthday” appears on none of them. The privacy policy lists “date of birth” among the personal information Boost collects, which is data collection and not a reward. Boost’s old rewards and perks addresses return Page Not Found, so Boost Perks, an older program, isn’t on the current site.
What Boost Offers Instead
Boostcoin is worth a cent each toward your Boost service payment. The help page says you earn it by watching videos, redeeming offers, playing partner games and completing surveys, and adds “Not all accounts are eligible for Boostcoin” and “You must have at least $2.00 in Boostcoin to redeem a payment credit.”
The referral page says “Existing customers and referrals on a plan of $40 or more will receive a $20 credit each. If the Boost Mobile customer and/or their referral are on a plan of less than $40 (excluding any plan under $25 per month), both will receive a $10 credit each.” Credits are applied over two months and everyone must “remain active for 30 days.” On September 28 a banner on that page read “SEPTEMBER OFFER: 50% MORE CREDITS.”
Names That Aren’t Boost Mobile
Two other companies share the name. Boost Juice is an Australian juice chain, and boost.com is an energy-drink brand with its own rewards program. Neither is connected to Boost Mobile. A third-party punch-card service called StampMe also lists Boost stores, but it’s StampMe’s card and not a Boost program.
The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate (50% on New Plans)
TopCashback’s Boost Mobile page reads “Get 50% of the price back with our Boost Mobile Cash Back offers,” with one tier called New Customer Activations for service plans. Its terms say “Cash Back is available for new plans only,” and the exclusions are purchases of devices and accessories, gift cards and coupon codes not displayed on TopCashback. Price.com says “Earn 50% cash back at Boost Mobile,” only on base plans with activated lines, and its page adds “Max Cash Back Per Order: $15.” TopCashback’s page lists no cap. Fluz shows only its general 1.5% store rate. Rates move, so check before you order.
Eligibility and Cost
You need to be starting a new plan, and phones and accessories don’t count. Boost’s student offer is $9.99 a month for 5 months and then $25 a month, verified through Student Bean. TopCashback and Price.com are free to join.
