Logitech G has no birthday reward on the pages read for this post, but TopCashback pays 6% back at Logitech G, with accessories left out. Logitech’s Hong Kong membership page does mention birthday gifts, and it’s worth knowing about before you go hunting, because it isn’t a US perk. A 20% student discount and certified refurbished gear fill in the rest.
What Logitech G Is
The Logitech G home page sorts its catalog into gaming mice, mousepads, keyboards, headsets and audio, racing wheels and microphones, among others. Its footer is copyrighted to Logitech, and Wikipedia says “Logitech International S.A. is a Swiss multinational manufacturer of computer peripherals and software.” If you’re pricing out a new mouse or keyboard, the cashback below is the money worth chasing, since the birthday route doesn’t exist here.
The Birthday Line That Isn’t For You
Logitech Club’s Hong Kong membership page, titled “[Fully Upgraded] Hong Kong Official Membership Program,” carries a benefits line in Chinese: “會員優惠 尊享專屬折扣與生日禮禮遇”. In plain English, and this translation is ours and not Logitech’s, it says member offers, exclusive discounts and birthday gift privileges. It’s the one birthday mention across every Logitech page read, and it belongs to Hong Kong’s store: the same page shows a free shipping threshold in Hong Kong dollars and Hong Kong contact details. Nothing on it says a US account can join.
No English page on the US Logitech G site, its refurbished pages or the main Logitech US site mentions a birthday.
What The US Site Offers Instead
Students get the clearest discount. The Logitech G home page says “Students can benefit from a 20% discount on Logitech G products.” The same page points to exclusive gifts with select products, tells you to sign up for emails to hear about them, and says “Check your region to see if you qualify” for free shipping. When this was read, a promotion also said “Buy 2 save 20%, buy 3 save 30%.”
Certified refurbished gear is the other lever. Logitech G says “Logitech G Certified Refurbished Devices are thoroughly tested and meet the Logitech G standard for quality,” and adds “You’ll receive the same 1-year warranty and Logitech support you’d get from one of our new products.” Returns are covered too: “Easy returns and 30-day money back guarantee.” When it was read, a refurbished G309 wireless gaming mouse was $49.99, marked down from $89.99, and the refurbished listings offered “SAVE 20% when purchasing this product with another Mouse, Keyboard or Headset.” Prices change, so treat those numbers as a snapshot.
The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate (6% at TopCashback)
TopCashback’s Logitech G page reads “Get 6% of the price back with our Logitech G Cash Back offers,” and lists 6% for an online purchase. The exclusions it names are “Purchases of Accessories” and “Use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback.” What counts as an accessory is TopCashback’s call, so read the terms on the page before you order a mouse or keyboard. The page also says “To be eligible for Cash Back on all products, you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart.”
Price.com lists the parent Logitech, not Logitech G: “Earn 2% cash back at Logitech,” with the exclusion “Cash Back is not available on Accessories, including Logi Accessories, PWS Accessories, Desk Accessories, Promotions, and Room Solutions.” Its Logitech G address returned a not-found page, so it isn’t clear that a logitechg.com order tracks there. Fluz has no Logitech G listing, and its parent Logitech page shows only its general 1.5% virtual card rate. Rates move, so check the current number before you order.
What Was Actually Checked
The Logitech G home page and its refurbished pages, the main Logitech US home page, Logitech Club’s home and rewards pages and the Hong Kong membership page were all searched for the word “birthday.” Only the Hong Kong page has a match. The Logitech G and TopCashback pages were read for rates and exclusions, and Price.com’s Logitech page for its terms.
Eligibility and Cost
TopCashback’s page says “Sign up for free and just shop at Logitech G as normal.” Price.com’s browser extension is also free to add. Prices on the refurbished listings change, so the page in front of you is the one to trust. Cashback isn’t instant: Price.com says “Purchases will typically show in your wallet as pending in 7 days” and “Cash Back will be added to your wallet in approximately 90 days.”
