Verizon’s own announcement of August 12, 2025 says “Visible is a division of Verizon and powered by Verizon’s award-winning networks,” and Visible’s about page says it runs on “our parent company Verizon’s award-winning 5G and 4G LTE networks.” That page also lists “unlimited 5G for $19/mo” and “Three plans, no hidden fees,” and the line “For as little as $25/mo.” The home page title reads “Visible Wireless – Unlimited 5G starting at $19/mo for one year.”
Verizon’s announcement also describes a program called Connection Protection, which “offers three months of wireless service to eligible members at no cost to ensure those who get laid off won’t lose their wireless plan, too.” Inner Circle launched August 21, 2025, and Visible’s page says “Save $5/mo on the Visible+ or Visible+ Pro plans, just by joining an Inner Circle.”
What Was Actually Checked
Visible’s home page, deals page, friend-code page, Bring a Friend, Stackem, Payback, Inner Circle, about page, gifting page and Visible+ for Less page were read, and none mention a birthday. Its terms and conditions, about 106,000 characters, were read in full along with its supplemental terms, and neither contains a birthday or “birth” line. Visible’s help center and several other pages load as an empty shell, so those weren’t read.
The Perks Visible Does Offer
Bring a Friend says “Refer friends to Visible and you’ll each get one $20 service credit when eligible members buy a plan,” and you can have 12 credits banked at any time. Stackem says “Refer up to 12 people to Visible each year and earn up to $240,” and Inner Circle saves $5 a month for up to $60 a year, for a combined “save up to $300/year.” Payback offers up to $240 in monthly service credits, with “New line required on Visible+ plan,” and 12 months of credits if you buy a select new phone.
A “Birthday” in a Web Address
Visible’s community site has a post with “happy-birthday” in its web address. Its title is “Connection Protection 1 Year Anniversary Update,” so it marks the program’s anniversary and has nothing to do with yours. The page returned a server error when it was requested, so its body wasn’t read.
The Real Route: A Genuine Cashback Rate (Flat $30)
TopCashback’s Visible page reads “Get $30 of the price back with our Visible Cash Back offers,” with one tier labeled “First Service Activation – Bring Your Own Device/Phone Purchase Exclusive.” The terms are strict: you must be a new customer, port in an existing mobile number from a valid carrier, activate service within 7 days and keep service continuously for at least 60 days, and the limit is one per customer. It excludes monthly payments, coupon codes not displayed on TopCashback, referral code redemptions and Visible’s monthly service discount promotions.
Price.com says “Earn $29 cash back at Visible” and limits it to activations, not orders using the promo codes SAVE3, Bring a Friend or REVERSE. The same page also says “Max Cash Back Per Order: $15,” which doesn’t match the $29 headline, so plan on $15 there. Fluz shows only its general 1.5% store rate. Rates move, so check before you order.
Eligibility and Cost
The referral exclusion is the part to plan around: TopCashback’s terms say cash back isn’t available on referral code redemptions, and Price.com excludes Bring a Friend orders, so a friend’s $20 credit and the cashback bonus don’t stack.
