A Lulus help article says it arrives on your birthday, as long as you’re an active customer who added your birthday at least 30 days ahead. The December 2025 program terms never mention birthdays, so the table and the help article are the two places it’s written down.

Lulus’ About page says “Lulus started in 1996 as a little vintage shop in Northern California. Since then, we’ve grown into a global brand.” Its loyalty program is called Love Rewards, and the live page is lulus.com/love-rewards. The old /loverewards address returns a not-found page.
How To Get The Lulus Birthday Deal
Join Love Rewards and put your birthday in your profile. The program page says “It’s free to join,” and you must be a US resident: “You must be a United States resident (including Washington, D.C., but not inclusive of U.S. territories) and at least 18 years of age.” Residency is decided by your shipping address, since “Lulus determines United States residency based on your shipping address.”
What The Birthday Reward Is Worth
The Love Rewards page has a row called “A Sweet Birthday Treat” in its tier table. Member (0-299 points) shows $5, Insider (300-699 points) shows $10, Icon (700-1499 points) shows $20 and All Access (1500+ points) shows $30. The table gives only the dollar figures. It doesn’t say whether the reward arrives as a credit, a coupon or points, and I didn’t find a page that says how it’s applied at checkout.
When It Arrives
The help article is specific about timing: “You get your birthday reward on your birthday, as long as you are an “active” customer and added your birthday to your profile at least 30 days prior to your birthday.” If you were late, the article covers that as well: “For birthdays added fewer than 30 days prior, you will receive your birthday reward 30 days after the date your birthday was added to your profile.” And if the date has already gone by, “If you added your birthday after your birthday passed, you will receive a reward on your next birthday, as long as you are still an “active” customer.”
What Counts As Active
The word “active” decides everything here. A second help article is blunt: “If you are not an “active” customer, you will not receive a birthday reward.” The program page defines it this way: “An “active” customer is defined as a customer who has taken a qualifying action in the most recent 12 month period.” The qualifying actions are a qualifying purchase, a successful referral or an earn action, so a member who hasn’t done any of those in a year gets nothing on their birthday.
Where The Terms Differ
The program terms, last updated December 3, 2025, describe perks as “personalized offers, coupons, and gifts” that “may have certain restrictions including expiration dates and short, time-limited redemption periods.” They add “All Perks are promotional only and have no cash value.” The list of current perks in the terms has no birthday item. That gap is why the help articles matter, and why it’s worth checking your own account before you count on a specific amount.
What Was Actually Checked
Lulus’ Love Rewards page, the program terms, the two birthday help articles and the About page were read on 2026-10-06. WebFetch got an HTTP 403 on every Lulus address, and headless Chrome got a bot-check page, so the pages were read through a plain page fetch. Part of the Love Rewards page loads by script and couldn’t be rendered, so any text that only appears there wasn’t seen.
Eligibility and Cost
Joining is free. To keep your tier you need a purchase each year: “You must make at least one purchase during your annual rolling year in order to maintain your reward points and tier status. If you do not make at least one purchase, you will lose all of the points you have earned and you will be placed in our entry-level tier, “Member.”” That’s worth knowing, because a lapsed account drops back to the $5 level.
