Lacoste’s Le Club Lacoste terms say that on your birthday “you will receive an email containing a discount of fifteen percent (15%),” but only once you’ve reached Level 2. Level 3 members get twenty percent, and members at Level 1 get no birthday offer at all.
What Lacoste Is
Wikipedia calls Lacoste “a French designer fashion brand” that sells clothing, footwear, sportswear, eyewear, leather goods, perfume, towels and watches. The program here is the one for Lacoste’s U.S. boutiques, outlet stores and website. The terms describe it as covering “the United States (including Porto Rico).”
How To Get The Lacoste Birthday Deal
Join Le Club Lacoste online or in a boutique or outlet. The terms say “any membership of LE CLUB LACOSTE is strictly free of charge and is not subject to any purchase obligation.” Then you climb: the club page puts Level 2 at “1000-4999 POINTS” and Level 3 at “5000 POINTS AND ABOVE,” and it says “$1=10 points.” That makes Level 2 about $100 of spending, counted before tax and without shipping or discounted amounts. Joining earns 100 points and adding your birthday earns 25 more, and the birthday offer is “reserved for Members that provided their date of birth.”
What The Offer Includes
The Level 2 conditions read: “Birthday offer: on your birthday you will receive an email containing a discount of fifteen percent (15%). The Birthday Offer is valid fourteen (14) days prior to your birthday date and forty-five (45) days after your birthday date and can be used at a Lacoste Store or on the Site (excluding sale or discounted items and excluding delivery fees); this voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or sale and does not require any minimum purchase.” The Level 3 text is the same with “twenty percent (20%).” That’s a window of about two months, and a $150 polo shirt at full price would come to $22.50 off at Level 2 or $30 off at Level 3.
The Rules On Timing
The terms add four limits. The offer is “reserved for Members that provided their email address” as well as their date of birth. It’s “reserved for Members that have not benefited from a birthday offer during the previous twelve (12) months.” In your first year as a member, you “cannot be eligible for the birthday offer in the first 14 days after your account creation.” And “For a same birthday year, you cannot be eligible for more than 1 Birthday offer.” So join a few weeks before your birthday, not the week of.
What Level 1 Gets Instead
New members start at Level 1, which the club page describes as “Private Sales, Exclusive Products, and Paperless Returns in store.” The page also promises “15% off your 2nd purchase,” which the terms call the Loyal Shopper Bonus and limit to your first year in the club. That’s a welcome offer, not a birthday one.
What The Old Post Claimed
An earlier version of this post told readers to join the Lacoste Club and said members receive a birthday discount by email, with no amount. The program’s name is Le Club Lacoste, and the email is real, but the post left out that Level 1 members don’t get a birthday offer and that the amounts are 15% and 20%.
What Was Actually Checked
lacoste.com refused our requests on 2026-10-12 with an “Access Denied” page, so the live pages couldn’t be read. The club page was read from an archived copy captured on March 24, 2026, and the general conditions from one captured on September 14, 2026. The conditions say they “apply from June 19th, 2024.” They say the email arrives “on your birthday” yet make the offer valid from 14 days before it, and they don’t explain how both hold, so watch your inbox from two weeks out. Look at lacoste.com for your current level before you plan around the percentages.
Eligibility and Cost
Membership is free for people in the U.S., including Puerto Rico. Your level follows a rolling window, since the terms measure it over “a period of twelve (12) consecutive months.”
